The Mar Thoma Camp Centre is Managed by The Marthoma Syrian Church, Coonoor Parish, Coonoor. The buildings are situated within the church campus and is above the Ayyappan Temple and has a panoramic view of this hill town.This centre consists of one dormitory.
PURPOSE
The purpose of the Mar Thoma Camp Centre is to provide facilities for:
i) Retreat, conference, consultations or meetings which are primarily Christian in character and those others which are non-political and not contrary to the percepts of the Mar Thoma Syrian Church of Malabar.
ii) Stay as a holiday resort for individuals, families or groups.
iii) Parties connected with weddings, farewells etc.

Dear All,
It's nice to see that there is an advertisement for the center .I had already visited this center 2 times .
It's a place where one can re-wind oneself .The fragrance of flowers, the hugging bitter cold ,the misty mountains & the hospitality of Achen & the staff over there is worth more than the money you pay.
I think the prime motive is Hygienity to the customers.
This center which was started with the motivation all the Niligiri Marthoma Church Members is of course a treasure to the Mar Thoma Church. The Center comes under the jurisdiction of Madras -B'lore Diocese .
I hope that all of you will surely make use of the opportunity to visit the place.
